• Make a report to both the local police and Singapore ICA. Then go to the nearest Singapore Embassy or Consulate to obtain a Document of Identity (D.O.I.) for travel.

• Take note, once a report is submitted to ICA, your lost passport will be immediately suspended, it cannot be reused even if found later.

• You’ll be reimbursed for reasonable replacement and transport costs under the Loss of Travel Documents / Personal Money & Travel Documents section.

You’ll need:

• Completed claim form

• Police or airline report (for loss, theft, or delay)

• Medical reports and receipts (for medical or hospitalization claims)

• Proof of travel (e-ticket, itinerary, boarding pass)

• Receipts or statements for lost or damaged items

Insureds are free to select any route that’s most convenient for them to submit their claim.

If you are travelling on a cruise, you must select the highest covered zone based on the furthest destination of your cruise. For example, if your cruise will be stopping at Bali (Zone 1) and Australia (Zone 2), you must select Zone 2 for Australia as that is the furthest destination of your cruise.

A Pre-existing medical condition is defined as:

• Any illness, disease, or other conditions, including symptoms, suffered by you, your travel companion or your relative, which in the one-year period before the policy issue date:

• First manifested itself, worsened, became acute or exhibited symptoms which would have caused an ordinarily prudent person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment;

• Required taking prescribed drugs or medicine, or tests or further investigation had been recommended by a medical practitioner; or

• Was treated by a medical practitioner or treatment had been recommended by a medical practitioner.

• Any congenital, hereditary, chronic or ongoing condition of yours, your travel companion or your relative which you or they are aware of, or could reasonably be expected to be aware of, before the policy issue date.

All three insurers require written notice of claim within 30 days of the incident or return to Singapore:

• AIG Travel Guard - Written notice within 30 days of loss or occurrence.

• Chubb Travel Pro Enhanced - Notify Chubb in writing within 30 days.

• EQ TravelSafe - Provide written notice of claim within 30 days from the date of incident or return.

• Report it to the airline or relevant authority immediately and obtain a written confirmation such as a Property Irregularity Report.

• Keep all receipts for emergency purchases made while waiting for your baggage.

Legally married couple with any number of their legally dependent children. Each child must be accompanied by either parent for any trips.

Per-Trip Policy

No refund of premium is allowed once the policy has been issued, regardless of whether the trip takes place or not.
