What is Masterpiece?


Masterpiece is a bespoke policy offers flexible protection with a difference. Coverage for physical loss or damage to your:

  • House and other permanent structures in the property;
  • Personal belongings such as furniture, electronic equipment, mobile phones, laptops, iPads, clothing, bags etc; and
  • Valuable items such as jewellery, watches, artwork, wine collection, musical instruments, bicycles and other collectibles




Do I need to inform Chubb for every new items I purchase?


  • If you have itemised valuables covered under your policy, newly purchased items of the same category will automatly be covered up to 25% of their total value.

  • You have 90 days to request for these items to be included in the policy. (additional premium is applicable)




Who can take up a Masterpiece policy?


  • Any individual 18 years of age,
  • A Singapore citizen, a Singapore permanent resident, or
  • A holder of a valid work permit or employment pass or long-term visit pass or dependant’s pass or S pass.




Are there any documents required to take up Masterpiece?


  • For items valued below S$100,000 each, you are not required to provide any documents.
  • For items valued above S$100,000 each, you are required to provide these documents.
    • Receipts, invoices or appraisals
However, it is recommended to keep a record of these documents as they may be required to be presented as evidence, in the event of a claim.

Who underwrites Msterpiece?


  • This policy is underwritten by Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited and distributed by NRM Insurance Agency Pte Ltd.
